About Mio Metals
Mio Metals was formed in 2004 with the acquisition of Copperworks (founded 1981) so our history dates back quite a bit. The Copperworks lineage grew and expanded beyond copper to brass, zinc, stainless and other steels. In 2019, we made our last countertops and range hoods. Our websites now feature a wealth of information on these niche products and are supported by ad revenue and referrals.
Mio Metals stands for sustainable business practices that include high quality, fair prices and wages, and reducing carbon emissions. These ideas compose the lens through which we present this information.
